Apo Kardias
The group “Apo Kardias” (Engl. “From the Heart”) lives in southwestern Messenia, in the village of Vasilitsi. They combine traditional and modern cultivation methods with special attention to environmental compatibility and the preservation of biodiversity.
Apo Kardias produces organic extra virgin olive oil, rubbed oregano and thyme, and sun-dried raisins. Alongside the sweet, seedless Sultana grape, they cultivate the regional Korinthe, a variety with small, violet-black fruits and a tangy-aromatic flavor.
All herbs and raisins are hand-harvested and processed without additives. The olive oil comes from organic farming on small family plots and convinces with its distinctive aromatic profile.

Nostos
The small cooperative Nostos works in the mountain village of Magganiakos and produces sun-dried figs with soft skin, sweet pulp, and long shelf life, supported by traditionally used antimicrobial herbs.
Additionally, Nostos produces aromatic, single-variety Koroneiki extra virgin olive oil, packaged in an environmentally friendly stand-up pouch.
The cooperative follows the principles of natural cultivation and relies on gentle production methods. Due to the small production volume, it consciously refrains from organic certification.
Alongside agriculture, Nostos is actively involved in projects to revitalize village life as well as in the preservation of old hiking trails in the region.
