Direct Order Campaign

Once a year, Fruits of Solidarity organizes a joint direct order campaign for Mediterranean products – primarily olive oil, olives, herbs, and other specialties from Greece.

• At the beginning of the year, at the end of the harvest season, we will inform all interested parties about the start of the campaign via newsletter and on our website.
• Orders can be placed via our online shop for a few weeks. Payment is required in advance.
• After the order period ends, the collected orders will be forwarded to the cooperatives in Greece.
• As soon as the products are packed and loaded, they will begin their journey to Austria.
• Distribution will take place via our local pickup points, where orders can be collected on fixed dates. You will receive details regarding the exact address and pickup time in due course via email.

Since we do not offer shipping, it is important that you can pick up your order in person at one of our pickup points.

Therefore, placing an order only makes sense if you want to join an existing pickup point or start a new one yourself.

• During the ordering phase, you can order directly through the online shop and pay conveniently by bank transfer.

By placing a joint order, we can:

• Optimize transport routes and thus protect the environment,
• Minimize storage and logistics costs to ensure fair prices,
• Purchase as much of the harvest as possible from small farms and pay them promptly,
• Provide social projects in Greece with planning security through reliable support.

The direct ordering model combines economic efficiency with solidarity and sustainability – a concrete example of how business can function differently.

Even outside of our annual direct order campaigns, we supply bulk buyers and resellers – such as foodcoops, organic shops, and restaurants.
